Fun with Aunt Katie

My sister is an amazing Auntie! Addi loves her, almost as much as she loves my mom! I borrowed Katie's computer again tonight and found some new pictures so I thought I'd share!

Is it too early for Piano lessons?

My Boo is so cute on the piano! She obviously watches me play a lot... look at her posture and her little fingers, I'm so proud! She's actually pretty good, she doesn't bang she just quietly moves her fingers on the keys! What do you think? Piano lessons for my 18 month old? HA HA!

PS- I would also like to note that I have officially decided that I am a BLOG-a-holic!

Rough Day Part Three... The Silver Lining

I thought I'd get on here and express that I am TRULY THANKFUL that the earthquake didn't hurt my family, friends or home! We are very lucky that way! And I'm also grateful for wonderful doctors who care to test little kids for lead, because you know there's someone out there who still has lead paint and their kids are getting sick. I grateful it's not mine! I love my little Addi, and the WORST day I could have with her is way better than the BEST day of my life before her! She is such a sweetheart and I love her little quirky personality and her amazing spirit! I feel like sometimes I complain too much, so I just wanted to make sure everyone knew how much I love my life, my family, and especially my baby girl!

Rough Day Part Two

There was also a 5.8 magnitude earthquake at my house today! It was centered in Chino Hills, which is only a city away, less than 15 miles. It lasted for a pretty long time, and I was freaking out! I'm pretty sure I have no idea what to do in an earthquake! Addi was eating lunch in her high-chair and I had enough time to get her out and get under a doorway, before the shaking stopped. It was scarey, lots of loud rumbling and shaking. Addi and I were both a little dizzy after! Luckily nothing too terrible happened to our house and we're all ok!

Today is definitely one of those days that I should have stayed in bed! :)

Rough Day

I had to take Addi to get her blood drawn today. She was obviously not happy about it! They couldn't find a vein so she got poked a few times, so of course that made her even more upset! Poor little thing!

I hate watching my baby cry, DOCTOR'S ARE THE WORST! It was the dumbest blood test ever! Apparently, in Cali, they have to do a routine blood test between the age of 1 and 2 to check for LEAD! What the??? Don't they think if my daughter had lead poisoning there would be some signs? Not to mention paint stopped having lead in it, when? Like 1976! ERRR! Oh well, it's over!

By the way, 3 out of my 5 classes are over for the summer! YAY! Addi and I can finally have a summer and take advantage of the beach, the aquarium and the zoo! So, if anyone wants to have play dates just call!

HELP!

Addi has learned the word HELP, except it sounds like she's a russian weight lifter when she says it... "HEOLP" It makes me laugh!

Addi has also been really enjoying talking to her dad on the web cam lately, he puts all sorts of funny things on the screen for her and she loves it! Her favorite is the puppy, I think Quinn's favorite is the lightning, and my favorite FOR SURE is the scuba mask!

Why are the cute things so expensive?

So I was wandering the mall yesterday... just window shopping, and I found this outfit for Addi... Paris inspired, so obviously I love it... was going to buy it immediately until I realized that the total of this one dress, shirt, shoes and hat was $98 plus tax.... WHAT THE???

So I am trying to justify it in my mind by adding these overalls @ $29.50 to make the grand total $127.50 plus tax! But then I'd have two outfits!

So since I am not rich, or stupid, I will not be buying this outfit, but I just wanted you all to know that I think it's scandalous to try to charge $100 for a kids outfit... :)

Had a Bad Day... :)

Ok, we didn't have a bad day, but Addi loves the Chipmunk Version of that song... so she dances to it, and I just thought I would share the absolute CUTENESS with you all! (please don't look at my kitchen floor I promise, I was cleaning when this video took place)

The things that happen when I'm not home...

So I spend a fair amount of time away from the house between school, friends and my "other life" LOL! My sister and mom are really nice to babysit for me all the time and I've always wondered what they do to entertain Addi! Well, tonight I decided to borrow my sisters computer so I could watch a movie in bed and I found some stuff, ha ha, evidence that my family are not only clean freaks... they are just freaks in general! There isn't too much of a chance Addi will turn out normal! HA HA!!!

I call this good education, some people call it slave labor! LOL!

Addi saw Zaida crawling around and decided that she need to do it as well... so she followed her around! That was the first time I've seen her crawl since Christmas!

My very talented friend Christina took Addi and I to the Claremont Colleges today and took some pictures. She did such a good job! It's the first time I've like myself in a picture since my senior pictures in high school! Addi looks adorable like always, but Christina did an awesome job with effects and catching Addi in just the right moments! These are a few, when I get the rest I'll upload them!

Fun with Nursery Friends

I absolutely love my ward! My friends are amazing and their kids are so cute,Addi loves to play with them!

We went to the wading pool one day, and today we went to my friend Angie's house for a playdate with Kate. Addi had tons of fun, she likes playing with big kids! We will definitely have to spend more time over there!
