The Last Day

The last day we were in SLC was quiet! We just went to a park with Quinn's family and then back over to his sisters house. It was fun. Addi got to be the center of attention, and finally started warming up to her Grandma and Aunt. It was really cute to watch them play. I was really sad that we had to leave. It's hard for me to watch her with him and then have to come back to California, so far away. Unfortunately, that is how it is and will be, so I guess I just have to push through it! I'm thankful for Quinn support and love for her and what a good father he is becoming.

We are thinking of going back to Utah when my summer quarter of school ends. I'm debating on that right now because of the rough transition week Addi has had (still having). She's almost too much to handle! Vacations are fun, but she's young to be gone from her home so often! Hopefully we can work something out! We miss you guys and hope to see you soon! Our door is always open so you can come visit us too!

Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point

While we were in Salt Lake, we went to the Dinosaur Museum with Quinn, his sister and his friend Ben and their kids. It was a lot of fun, WAY over Addi's head though! It would have been a lot funner to go without the kids (LOL) so we could just read everything and watch the movie, etc... but it was still a way fun day! Addi had fun with the stuff you can touch, and she thought the huge shark was pretty cool too! She fell and scrapped her little nose running down a ramp! So she had a big scab the rest of the week, which she discovered a couple days ago and removed by herself- YUM! HA HA! She's such a cutie, how can you not just love her?!?

So I've had a rough week, after coming back from Utah upset and diving into yet another quarter without having any time to myself, I found myself feeling a little bitter and angry. I also have found myself a little irritated every day with going back to being a single mom after a week of having help. (Thank HEAVEN for Christina taking me walk/jogging every day or I would loose it) But I found this quote tonight- made me think and also made me instantly realize that I'm not alone even though I feel that way right now.

So, it's official (I think) my daughter has her first little boyfriend. Jack is Quinn's friends son. He is honestly the CUTEST little boy. He totally loves Addi! It's adorable! They made out- LOL!

Addi loves Quinn so much! They have so much fun together, I love it! This video is so cute, she is just dying to hit him, she knows she can't but she wants to so bad, and he is making faces at her that are making her laugh!

Addi loves to swim... for some reason the day Quinn took her swimming she was not having it! I tried throwing her in to him a couple times, and finally after Ben, Steph and Jack (her little boyfriend) got there she warmed up and edged her way in!

The Children's Museum in SLC

If you haven't been to the Children's museum in the Gateway Mall you need to go! It was so awesome! We will definitely be going there every time we go to Salt Lake! (Quinn mentioned he'd probably spend some time down there by himself cause it's cool :)
We went with Annie and her two nephews and niece and my good friend Alyssa and her kids Ben and Luke. (Luke started crawling while we were there, so I got to be there for one of his big moments YAY!) Addi had fun running around and playing in the grocery store, house, farm, lego land, magnet board, helicopter, ball room, and I could go on! Seriously- that place was awesome!

Dad's House

We just got home from a short trip to Utah. I'm going to have to post a view different blogs to show all the fun stuff Addi got to do with her dad. We spent a lot of time at his house hanging out with his friends, and of course feeding the ducks and taking naps in Uncle Dan's bed! Addi had fun following Quinn in and out of his room, playing hide and seek (peek-a-boo) and of course being thrown around (cause all little girls love that!) We had a couple BBQ's and Addi got to hang out with her little "future husband" Jack and some of Quinn's friends- who all happen to be big guys so she spent the whole night scared of them! HA HA! The best part for me was having Annie around! I hadn't seen her for going on three years and it was awesome to spend time with her, just like the good ol' days!

Sea World

We had so much fun at Sea World with Addi's cousins and my sister! It was a blast! The best part was of course the Shamu shows and the new Sesame Street Bay of Play... Addi got to ride her first rides, and needless to say my wild child loved them! She loves her little cousins, they can keep up with her! I wish they didn't live so far away!

More fun with Cousins...

Addi has been having so much fun with my sister's kids! They are swimming and playing dress up and just having a blast together. I think this means I better hurry up and get married so I can have more kids. Addi loves all the attention, and I love the FREE DAYCARE! HA HA! Addi is off at the zoo with her cousins today, and Friday we are off to Sea World then Monday to SLC- man too bad Addi doesn't get to have any fun!

Family Fun

Addi's cousins came to visit this week. We are having SO MUCH FUN! (Too bad they came during my finals, because I have lost the desire to study) Addi is finally at an age where she can really enjoy other kids and it's amazing to see her playing with her cousins and having a blast!

I'm Coming!

Just so everyone knows, I am coming to Utah for a the week of Father's day. It's a short trip and I'm spending a lot of time with Quinn, but if you want to get together we want to have a big friend BBQ, so call me and let me know when you're available! :)

Rainy Days... Getting Sunnier!

Hey Everyone! I can't believe it's already June!
Where does the time go?
Yesterday was a very rainy day, so Addi and I spent some time at a friends house playing with Addi's little friend, Ben. Then, we came home and enjoyed our day together being silly! Addi decided to change her dolls diaper (pictures below)! I don't think she has the hang of it yet, but I can say she is definitely better at diaper changing than Quinn :) so she must get that skill from me!
